Underwater Museum of Art, MUSA is a museum located on the Mexican Caribbean Sea in Cancun.
The sculptures in the Hall of Manchones, is at a depth of eight meters, where an installation of 450 sculptures form the silhouette of an eye and is called ” The Silent Evolution” by British artist Jason Taylor deCaires. 10 characters each structure rests on a concrete base and set of 4 tons of rocky soils with spikes, to prevent displacement thereof by the forces of underwater currents or hurricanes. It is the plan of this facility be increasing every year. In this room there are other installations and sculptures by other artists and different styles. In total there are 475 Manchones sculptures.
