Whitsunday Island located about ten kilometers off the coast of Queensland, Australia in the Coral Sea.
It is famous for its Whitehaven Beach: the white sand and the shades of blue clear water make it a perfect picture postcard. You can see the creek from the heights of Hill Inlet. The boats can anchor in the sheltered bay of Cid Harbour.
Whitsunday Island is accessible by boat from the ports of Airlie Beach and Shute Harbour.
