Very popular for tourists, the town in north-western Morocco is known for its buildings painted in variations of sumptuous blue. It is located 600 meters above sea level in the foothills of Kelaa and Meggou, and his name “Chefchaouen” literally means “watch the horns,” embodied by these two mountains.
