Credit River, Ontario, Canada

The Credit River is a tributary of Lake Ontario in the Canadian province of Ontario.

The Credit River has its origin in Orangeville in Orangeville Reservoir near the Niagara Escarpment. The dam leaves the Credit River to the east. The flowing north to Lake Huron Nottawasaga River forms a second outlet of the reservoir.
The Credit River flows through the Forks of the Credit Provincial Park and takes the Little Credit River from the left. It passes the towns Caledon, Georgetown and Mississauga. Finally, the Credit River in Port Credit flows into the western end of Lake Ontario. The Credit River has a length of about 90 km.
